So you can plan your curriculum work around your schedule. The only limitation is that you must complete the course within 90 days of the start (or get an extension to complete it).
Q I live outside of North America. Can I still take this course?

You just won't be able to take the quizzes or upload assignments to our instructors for feedback. Q Are there any prerequisites or requirements to take this course?

Q For Culinary Rx, what equipment will be needed for participation in this course?  
A
You won’t need anything special, other than basic equipment that every kitchen should be stocked with. For now, ensure you have a sharp knife (6 to 10-inch chef’s knife), a large cutting board, a sturdy sauté pan, a standard pot set and a set of 8 small bowls for your mise en place (something you’ll learn in the course). A set of small to large sized stainless steel bowls (or glass if you prefer) would also be very useful.
